Random Food Post | Ikea; Marché; Antipodean

This is not a proper post of any particular stuff. Just me sharing foods I've eaten during the other trip which was also in KL. Bottom pic was me playing with phone, can't get my hands off from it. #badhabit

Soo yea..I've heard a lot of good comments about Ikea meatball and it really makes me curious. I wanted to try it so badly!! Luckily I've tried and I must say I'm sooooo in love with it. At first I thought the combination of jam with the sauce is weird but then after I give it a try, surprisingly it was so good!! I'll definitely go Ikea just to eat the meatball. Hahaha.

We went to The Curve one of the day and we were thinking where to have dinner and then we just happened to pass by Marché!! I've totally forgotten that Marché do have one franchise in Malaysia, one and only. That made me so happy and we just went in. If you have not known, I loveeeee their food after I tried their food for the first time in Singapore. Click here for the previous post I've written about it.

It's a market style restaurant which is very special!!

 And here comes the mashed potatoooo!!!! I was soooo happy that I can finally eat their mashed potato again!! BUT IT TASTE EXACTLY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I'VE EXPECTED. Damn sad. Even Pie Harbour's one taste much more nicer. Gosh why would it be so different from the one in Singapore??

 Spaghetti. Still okay, nothing really special. 

 I told myself I must order the savoury crepe because it is too good!!! Don't worry, this is qualified. Haha. I like the sauce so much and we actually requested for another one. Lollll.

The last restaurant is Antipodean. I guess a lot of you have heard of it right?? It was in my must-go-list too since everyone was posting about it. Haha. Plus I'm a big fan of english breakfast!!

A Fantasy of Flowers by M.A.C

Hey guys! So I'm doing this post which should be up like few weeks ago. All the other bloggers have already blogged about this I guess. X) So last month (I checked my itinerary only realised this event had passed so long! Goshh feel more guilty now.) I went to this A Fantasy of Flowers launch party at Queensbay. It's a new collection launched by M.A.C to welcome the Spring!! As you know (or you should know), M.A.C always launch new collections periodically. Glad that I'm invited to their launch party, since I'm a big fan of them!! 

I heard about this brand long ago and I pretty sure this brand has their quality since so many make up gurus like to use their products. What's more? I felt in love with M.A.C more when I was working for them!! Tried almost all the products and none of them had really disappointed me. Heh. 

 One of the make up artist of M.A.C put on a full make up for me once I got there. My face looked so tired and....round. Gahh. For the base, she just put strobe cream and mineralize skin finish, that's all!! And I felt that my skin look so smooth and flawless instantly. Never know that my face could look flawless without using liquid foundation!! Lol.

 Such a big crowd. Too bad I was all alone there...Couldn't find a companion with me.

 So here is it!! The pink and green collection. I think the pink = blossom; green = leaf that's why they chose these 2 colours. Haha.

A make up tutorial by Haritha Shan which is a senior artist from M.A.C using the latest collection. 

OK! So I made a collage for this collection with their names on it. Not sure whether you can see it not because of the font that I'd chosen! It's a bit hard to read it but I just like this font and it blends well with the images. Hahaha. 

Not to forget that M.A.C is generous enough to give each of the blogger a new bag of cosmetics!! Love it to the maxxx!!! Thank you <3

Taste Of Fashion | Gurney Paragon

Last Thursday, which is right on the next day I came back from my trip I attended the launching of Penang on 6 and 'Taste of Fashion' fashion show. I know some of you might wonder why there's a grand opening since it already opened for so long. Well, it's actually a revelation of the new concept of Penang on 6, designed in a old-fashion style by the principal of The One Academy, Dr. Eric Leong. 

Starting from now, there will be a routine themed event named Retro Saturdays to be held on Penang On 6 from 2pm - 10pm!! There are nearly 30 merchants selling all the trendy and vintage clothes, accessories, etc. 

Door gift was given to everyone who visited Penang on 6 that day!!

After the redecorating, it is filled with retro atmosphere and the 1970's ambience. I like the road sign though!

Around 7.30pm we changed station to festive square (entrance of Gurney Paragon facing Gurney Drive) to enjoy an al-fresco-styled Opening Gala. It's the Gurney Paragon's Spring Summer 2014 Fashion Week which delivering almost 40 international and local brands!

The event ended around 9pm and we only went to have out late dinner at Javrie's restaurant. And I get to eat my favourite ramen burgerrrrr!!! Nomssss.

The Alley; Stewart Lane | Behind 50; Love Lane

It's a post throwback to before I had my last exam in Diploma year. Went to The Alley with friends to check out the hot selling churros.  

If I'm the one who order coffee, Mocha will always be my choice.

Cronut. It means croissant x doughnut.

The famous churros with dipping sauce comes in few choices. It's nutella in the pic above.

The space of The Alley is too small, I wouldn't recommend you if you're going in a bunch unless you book the tableS at the back. Cronut is fine but for the churros, nothing special. Like for the latte art though. 

It was just another studying-fighting-night before exam and it was time for dinner. We heard about this cafe, Behind 50 before but never been there. Cindy was craving carbonara and we found that this cafe is selling it so we were here!

Mushroom soup. Not bad for a small cafe like this. 

Didn't expect much but this is actually good, just a bit salty. 

The seats we were sitting is like a bar, facing outside where you can watch cars, people pass by. It's like a sidewalk cafe. 

Set meals comes with drinks and a really tiny scoop of ice-cream.

It's an open-air cafe so don't really recommend for those who seek for cozy environment. Price is rather cheap and the food is nice too. The service is great too!

A random pic about what I've bought by using the RM250 vouchers. Last year I spent it all in Popular which you can get a free membership and a RM50 voucher. Due to some limitations of Popular set on the vouchers, I spent the voucher in MPH this time. No limitation just that you need to buy at least one book. You can buy anything else even soft toy!

This time I got less items compared to last year because I can get discount from Popular but not here. More novels are loaded!!! Feel so exciting to read all of them, I only left one novel haven't read from the novels I bought last year. Btw, the pink soft toy is owned by my sis, it's not part of the purchase. Lol.

You only need to spend RM150 in a single receipt to receive a book of vouchers!! 

The End of Diploma Year
