Waffle Date at The Owls Café | Bukit jalil, KL.

Throwback to a date months ago when I don't even have my braces yet. Lol. So me and my friend, Zhen went to this café which is famous of its waffle, located in Bukit Jalil.

We waited for more than half an hour I guess since there was quite a number of people queuing. And it's kinda hot to wait at the staircase. Ugh.  

You know whenever you visit a new café and you have no idea what to order or nice to eat, foursquare is the solution. Haha. That's what I basically do whenever I visit a stranger café. And so I ordered the signature one with an earl grey ice cream on top, which the ice cream tasted really really good. The scent of earl grey is really strong. And my friend ordered a waffle with something milo and coco crunch but it was too dry to eat. 

I think it would be better if I add on another earl grey ice-cream! One scoop for a waffle is too little! I have to scoop it little by little so that I won't finish the ice-cream before the waffle. Lolll.

First Anniversary Celebration | The Steakhouse KL

I have been anticipating (kind of desperate) to receive a bouquet of flower cause in all my life time cause I have never received roses before! I wonder how it feels when someone gift you a bouquet of roses. For sure it will feels darn good, and I did, feeling darn good when Hao surprised me with 11 roses! Awww~ I was so so happy since he already knew I've been wanting to receive it but I told him not to cause it's kind of waste of money. It's not like you can keep it or what but he did it anyway! Though I said it don't waste the money but deep down my heart still wants it. Lolll. He does read my mind. Hahaha. 

11 roses; 一心一意

It's our first anniversary so I must make sure that our stomach get good treats! I went online and searched for nice steak restaurant and I came across this, The Steakhouse which is located at Changkat, KL. I've read a lot of good reviews about it so we decided to give it a try!

Both of us ordered steak (obviously lol) and the portion is quite big! We can't finish it cause we were too full! But the steak is really niceeeee especially the rib eye. Nomssss.

 Different types of salt and mustard for your steak.

 I ordered tenderloin (200Gm; RM98) in medium and with the type of sauce and potato you prefer. I asked the staff to recommend me the sauce that goes well with tenderloin and he said black pepper. It was good! The vege is good too! I didn't finish my baked potato because the portion, is, big.

 Hao ordered rib eye (300Gm; RM98) in medium with mushroom sauce and it taste sooooo good omg. I actually prefer his one more than mine because it has the fat layers in it. Taste so much better. Hahaha. The mashed potato is good too! Yums!

 Lastly a complimentary cheese cake. Even the cheese cake and ice cream taste good too wtf. I thought a steakhouse wouldn't give so much attention on desserts but they proved me wrong!

One year passed so fast that I never realized we had been together for a year already. It is definitely not considered long but I hope there are more celebrations to come. ILY. <3

Anniversary gift from bae. I loveeeeeee this bangle watch so much!! I had a watch in high school which is a sports watch but since then it is spoilt I never buy one again. So a watch was like in my wishlist for a long time already.

1600 Pandas | Publika

I thought I'd not have the chance to 'meet' the 1600 Pandas. But last week when I hung out with my friends and we thought we could go to have a look on the pandas! It took us nearly an hour to find a damn car park. .________.

Since we were already half-dead after finding a car park, it's time to have a cup of good coffee. No doubt Publika has so many cafes around and we decided to go to the famous Coffee Stain by Joseph. Heard about it for so long but never had the chance to try out. 

It's not very spacious but it was separated by a barrier so we still have our own privacy. My Mocha was good and the Panda art is so cute! However, the coffee ice cube with milk is rather disappointing. I'd prefer the one from Garage 51. 

After the high tea session, we also decided to have our early dinner in Publika. We'd no idea where to go so we ended up we went to the food court. We had the BM Yam Rice which was really delicious!! If only it does not contain so much MSG. But it taste as tasty as the yam rice from BM (Bukit Mertajam) which is famous of their yam rice. My sis used to drive us there just to have their yam rice!

I've been so enjoyed my life in Penang. It is so relaxing and I really feels good and happy to be backed again to my home. Never got any homesick before but this time was different. I wonder why. I missed my family and friends and been eager to meet all of them. Time pass so fast in a blink of eye, we should appreciate everyone around us while we still got the CHANCE. These things can't be waited, show your care to the people you loved so you won't REGRET by any chance. (:

A Day With Full Of Snacks | Mid Valley

The other day I went to Mid Valley with Hao and all we did was just eating all the time. Haha. So I also decided to share with you guys what did we have on that day! 

First, we went to the famous Magnum Ice Cream since we haven't try it yet. When it first opened the queue was crazy and you know, typical me lazy to wait. And we happened to saw that there was no queue at that time so we finally decided to give it a try! Unsurprisingly it's really super duper tasty. Yummmssss. The price for one, RM9.90 is actually not that high considering other's dessert nowadays priced even more expensive. 

When Hao first saw the jelly sweets he insisted to add that but I don't think it goes really well with the ice cream though. Hahaha. Ohh and did you see the dark and milk chocolate balls? You must add that, it added a little crunchiness for it. Damn nice.

Next stop is the MarvellouseEGG. Previously it was a kiosk selling mochi, no idea why it closed down already but luckily I tried once before. Haha. So the name speaks for itself, it's an egg snack where you choose the M-stick which is the egg and also the dips. 

 Mine one is Chicken Loaf Egg w/ cheese dips. I like the combination though. The egg taste good with the chicken loaf wrapped outside, and the cheese is cheesy enough. Hao doesn't like the cheese cause it's too cheesssyyy for him.

The last one is Madame Waffle! Some of you might have heard of it already because it's slowly becoming a trend now also after Magnum. Lol. Hao had milk chocolate waffle and I had honey waffle. I don't like mine because I can't really taste the honey in it instead just like eating a normal waffle. Milk chocolate is good though.

I know this pic looks weird because I had my left hand holding the waffle to turn it into the front side and taking the pic with my right hand. Lolllll.

All the outlets are located on the 3rd floor except for Madame Waffle. You have to take the escalator up which is just opposite Magnum and it will be on your left.

10 Oct 2014. Once a year we can be the queen or king for a day. In the pass 19 years, I was a queen in Penang, but this year it's different because I'm celebrating my birthday in KL and it's the first time ever not celebrating singly. If you get what I mean. Haha.

My sis, Grace suggested to have my birthday dinner at Acme Bar & Coffee. She visited once and she thought that I'd like it, and I like it indeed!

Before we have birthday dinner, Hao and I went out for a movie date since both of us have thing to do in the morning and so we left not much time until the dinner. Dracula untold was okay.

 I thought my birthday was gonna be dull, but before this celebration on actual date my friends also celebrated with me. I feel really grateful though my family (except my sis) couldn't make it this year. Thanks to everyone who has been concerning and taking care of me. Love ya!
