First Anniversary Celebration | The Steakhouse KL

I have been anticipating (kind of desperate) to receive a bouquet of flower cause in all my life time cause I have never received roses before! I wonder how it feels when someone gift you a bouquet of roses. For sure it will feels darn good, and I did, feeling darn good when Hao surprised me with 11 roses! Awww~ I was so so happy since he already knew I've been wanting to receive it but I told him not to cause it's kind of waste of money. It's not like you can keep it or what but he did it anyway! Though I said it don't waste the money but deep down my heart still wants it. Lolll. He does read my mind. Hahaha.

It's our first anniversary so I must make sure that our stomach get good treats! I went online and searched for nice steak restaurant and I came across this, The Steakhouse which is located at Changkat, KL. I've read a lot of good reviews about it so we decided to give it a try!

Both of us ordered steak (obviously lol) and the portion is quite big! We can't finish it cause we were too full! But the steak is really niceeeee especially the rib eye. Nomssss.

 Complimentary bread.

 Complimentary potato leek soup.

 Different types of salt and mustard for your steak.

 I ordered tenderloin (200Gm; RM98) in medium and with the type of sauce and potato you prefer. I asked the staff to recommend me the sauce that goes well with tenderloin and he said black pepper. It was good! The vege is good too! I didn't finish my baked potato because the portion, is, big.

 Hao ordered rib eye (300Gm; RM98) in medium with mushroom sauce and it taste sooooo good omg. I actually prefer his one more than mine because it has the fat layers in it. Taste so much better. Hahaha. The mashed potato is good too! Yums!

 Lastly a complimentary cheese cake. Even the cheese cake and ice cream taste good too wtf. I thought a steakhouse wouldn't give so much attention on desserts but they proved me wrong!

One year passed so fast that I never realized we had been together for a year already. It is definitely not considered long but I hope there are more celebrations to come. ILY. <3

Anniversary gift from bae. I loveeeeeee this bangle watch so much!! I had a watch in high school which is a sports watch but since then it is spoilt I never buy one again. So a watch was like in my wishlist for a long time already.

Lunch Date at Lunarich | Gurney Paragon, Penang

A super unrelated selfie I taken ages ago start off this blogpost because I haven't been taking selfies recently. Lolll. 

Actually the lunch date I had with my besties, Shelmine was a long time ago but now only I blog about the food. Haha. So we went to this Italian cuisine, Lunarich in Gurney Paragon. It was my second visit and the reason I'm going back is because the pizzaaaaaaa.

If you do not know (yet), I'M A PIZZA PERSON. But I don't really have pizza that often tbh but I will if  pizza is a healthy food, low in calories, doesn't make my stomach bloat or something. But damn it's not!! That's why I only eat it once in awhile. Hahaha. When it comes to pizza, I think I can finish the whole large/medium pizza by myself. Oppssss.

Since there's only two of us so we ordered a mushroom soup and a fungi pizza. Their fungi pizza is a bomb!!! My love for fungi or any mushrooms will never fade. I loveeeeeeeee it sooooo much. Sautéed one is my favourite I guess!! Hmm... missing the Antipodean's one already. Haha. The mushroom soup not recommended though. Lol. Anyway, what's your favourite food? 

High Tea at Macallum Connoisseurs | Gat Lebuh Macallum, Penang

Hi guys! How is it going? Miss me? I know you miss me *evil face inserted* hahaha. So today I'm going to share with y'all a coffee shop which is kind of in the trend for a while already. It is the Macallum Connoisseurs!! I've heard about a lot of good reviews and pictures on Instagram saying how good is their food but never got a chance to visit it. Finally I went when I spent my sem break in Penang!

As you can see from the outside, it is quite different from the usual café that pops up like mushrooms after the rain in Georgetown. This café obviously is a lot bigger than the others, and the best part of it is it has it's own car park though it's quite limited. 

We went there for high tea since we already had lunch. So we just go for the desserts and coffee instead of the main course. But I will come back one day for their mains! 

Banana Crepe *RECOMMENDED*

Oreo Cheesecake. It was quite tasteless for me. Kinda disappointing.

Another flavour for crepe, Strawberry. The texture of their crepe is really smooth and fulfil your tongue satisfaction. But this flavour is too sweet.

Recent addiction is Iced Mocha! Too bad this is so bitter, it tasted more like iced long black. Lolll. But the other of us ordered hot coffee such as flat white and it was good. 

Lastly is the baked eggs!! Cheese + eggs never goes wrong!! Yummmmss.

Later then we went to the beach at Park Royal Hotel to chill. Ahhh~ such a relaxing day it was. Haha.

Look at that beachhhhhh. The sunlight, the clouds, the sands, the trees, the boat... They make me miss Penang when it comes to this. We did wait until sunset to enjoy the amazing view!

Didn't make up on that day so just throw on some bright lipstick before I take selfies. Put on the sunshade yo babe! Hahaha. Btw did you see my ugly black roots? Ugh it's just so obvious when it grows. Can't tahan any more!! Still thinking what colour to dye next. Heh.

Dinner at Healy Mac's | Straits Quay, Penang

Hi Guys! How are you doing? I've just started my degree year two first semester yesterday! Still feeling reluctant to get back to college life. Lol. And in this new sem I had to separate with my old classmates as we will be joining diploma graduates all together. It's time to make some new friends eh? Haha. I always have my poker face but I'm friendly kayy! Don't let my look fools you. Haha.

Although now I'm in Kl already I still want to share some good food I've tried during my one month sem break in Penang, my lovely home town! My aunt brought me and my sis to this Irish Bar & Restaurant in Straits Quay. They have a few branches in KL too.

Three of us ordered different dishes and share among all so that we can tried different things. We had smoked duck breast salad which is realllyyyyy good. All of us like it very much especially the dressing and the duck meat is so tender! Mmmmm. Aglio Olio was my aunt's choice. It was quite good with a little spicy. I like it where it has a lot of vegetables on top but it's a little bit too oily for me. The last one was 12 inch margarita pizza which was huge! I think I had 3 pieces!! Despite my deep love for pizza, their pizza wasn't up to impress me. I like the crunchy thin crust though.

Breakfast at BIBIS | Jalan Kelawai, Penang

Hi Guys, it's been a while since the last time I write about café. Few days ago I went to this BIBIS Fashion & café which is located at Jalan Kelawai (right opposite Gurney Paragon Mall). It's a really strategic place so it wouldn't be hard to find. 

The pudding is getting more obvious. I need a new hair colour! Any suggestionnnnn?

I've noticed this café before but haven't got the chance to try it out yet. They have their own car park but it's quite limited. We went there pretty early to have our breakfast and chit chat for hours until noon. Lol. As for the interior design it does give you a relaxing atmosphere which is much needed for a café. That explained the long chit chat session we had, or maybe it was the super comfortable sofa. Haha.

3 of us ordered different breakfast. I ordered egg benedict which was not bad along with a glass of organic vege juice. Okay I know vege juice may sounds gross and it was my first time order a vege juice too because I needed the fibre. Lolllll if you know what I mean. But the juice is surprisingly nice!

Breakfast platter ordered by my aunt which is soooo good. The bacon, sausages, omelet, bread... All taste differently from the others' breakfast platter that I've tried. Nommsss.
