Working Life in Inglot #1 | Vogue for Virtue 2013

Feeling awesome to blog at Starbucks in Highlands now. As if you know, I'm currently in KL and going to Singapore the day after tomorrow. Yayyy. 4 days in KL and 4 days in Singapore for this vacation before sem break ends. This is my first post to blog in this cozy weather! 

So today I'm gonna share with you about my working life in Inglot. I've joined in since last month but mix up with the colleagues pretty fast as they're friendly! I love them. :DD

One day we decided to play with the dark lipstick. As if you concern, Inglot has a big range of lipstick as well as the eye shadows/pigments and nail polishes. You gonna love em! 

Fyi, Inglot is a brand from Poland and was established over 25 years ago even longer than MAC. Moreover the quality is quite good yet it's affordable.

Next is about the Vogue for Virtue semi final which happened last 2 weeks. I didn't make it into the semi-final ( I look horrible like a 30 years old aunty in the pic omfg) and so I was the make up artist for the contestant since Inglot was the sponsor. 

This is the first time I've ever joined this kind of event to make up for contestants and I was a little nervous. Lol. However I really happy I got the chance to experience that though it's quite tired. 

We are Ingot make-up artists. 

I can't stand with the expenses in KL here. Spend so much within 2 days and there's another trip I'm gonna spend more. Omg. How I wish money could just fall from the sky haha. You gonna miss me for more than a week! See you my lovely readers. :)

The Mugshot Cafe | Chulia Street

I think most of the Penangites are familiar with the pics we taken below. It shows like we are prisoners and you can write whatever you like on the charge. So I'm here to introduce you four pretty prisoners. :P

These prisoners-look-alike pics actually attracted many of Penangites to visit and to take the pic. But of course they are famous for their bagel muffin and yogurt too. Next time I should try their coffee too, heard many good comments about it. :)

Before and After Exam

As if you know, I'm having my last sem-break in Year 1 now which is about one month. It's longer than usual to make sure we get sufficient time to rest before proceed to Year 2! So far I quite enjoy my sem-break since I'm not rotting at home and feeling lifeless. 

Half of the time I'm working and other than that I'll usually hang out with my old bunch of friends. Catching up the old moment with them since we don't really seeing each other after graduating. And not to forget the most exciting part in this sem-break, I'm going to Singapore trip with sis, Grace and mum! Never been to Sing before and I really looking forward to it! :DD

Playing around like there's no exam! 

Few days later, all of us were fighting with the exam. I hate exam. Don't you?? It was short sem so we only have 3 subjects to be examine. If you wanted to know, it is Fundamentals of Marketing (which is the subject I hated the most), Organisational Behaviour and Japanese Language I (my favourite!!) / French Language I

Right after the last paper we went to 重庆火锅 @ Abu Siti Lane for our dinner.

Bitches' Gathering

Bitches, it's time for gathering!! The bitches I'm mentioning are Ping Ping, Wen Yuan and Yi Wen. So we went for a movie date and Marshall's for supper which I've forgotten when was it and we just had another gathering yesterday! So I'll just combine both of them into a post. 

At Marshall's Burger. It's my first time being there. 

We watched Olympus has fallen before going for supper. If you haven't watch the movie, trust me, it's a really good movie until my heartbeat hardly to beat in tempo.

Next, is the BBQ night we spent together yesterday at my house. Usually we will have it at Wen Yuan's house every year. So this time I'll be the one who do the shopping for buying the ingredients. Thank you Thomas for the accompanied. Haha. 

 When bitches meet again, someone dyed her hair!! Damn nice lehh! I want to dye my hair again! 

Nobody likes to eat capsicum. But I like it so much. :X

My favourite Marshmallow!!!!!! OMG it tastes sooooooo nice after BBQ it. 

 Ermmm...pardon me. I think I have to improve my BBQ skill. Hahaha.

How to look good in photos?

So I was like having a mini photoshoot after came back from work. The photographer was my mum and she used my samsung note to take all the pix. Hahaha. All the photos were taken 2 months ago but now I only have the chance to post it.

I remembered I was very excited to wear on those heels and pull out this cool outfit look since I only wear like that when I'm going to work. Hahaha.

Back to the topic, how to look good in photos??? I know right most of us don't look good in any angles and so most of the time we need to find that 'exact angle' to take the best pic of ourselves. So do I. Hahaha.

Basically, I don't look good when I put my face exactly in front of the camera. Because of my chubby face, usually I will slightly shift my face to either leftwards or rightwards (mostly rightwards because my left-side-face looks nicer hahaha) to get a slimmer shape of your face.

 Spot the difference?

Yes you are right! In order to look good in photos, you can't go without photo apps! One of my favourite app is Camera 360 and I bet most of the girls knew about it. Usually I use the magic skin in natural to get the glossy and shiny skin effect. Hahaha. You know what's going on next. EFFECT!! Choose the most suitable effect and post on Instagram! LOL

I like to edit my photos, you have a problem? (:

I'm not encouraging you to use apps to turn yourself to become another person, obviously, just some filter and effect are acceptable. You never want ppl to say like 'she looks totally different in real life compare to her photos!' right? Do some basic skincare routine to keep your skin in good condition, drink more waters and exercise regularly. Girls should know how to love themselves. (:
